I watched CSPAN a lot during the health care 'debate'. I'd see Boehner and friends in mark up meetings,trying to knock the effort off track. I also remember when Pelosi was speaker, and they were working on an important energy bill. Boehner called for the 'reading of the bill", which forces the secretary to read the whole bill out loud, with all arcane references. It took over 8 HOURS. When it came time for the vote, he and his colleagues weren't there. He went on Fox and CNN to say Pelosi was going to keep them in session and force them to miss Christmas break, like a child whining about mommy making him do his homework.
